As in your videos on this I do like the separation between the tree and the background 👌👏

Both of them are super. I like the contrast in this one. But I think the fog, does a better job in the color photo. I go for the softness 👍😉

I vote B&W

Funny thing, I don't want to be too critical, but when I saw the video, and the effort you put into making this image, I am not impressed, nearly all of your other from recent videos is so much better... Funny thing how subjective photography can be.

The best shot is the one you like Tom, but you don’t need me tell you that 📸. Keep up the good work mate 👍 I completely agree about separation and I prefer the BW🌟📸🌳 #cannyphotograher

I do prefer the colour but more so of this one without the fog in front of the tree, also I really dig the sheep in the foreground 😂

I’s definitely say colour, looks more like a painting than a sketch. Please do feel free to check out my acc of animal portraits any feedback is welcome :)

Black and white I like these types of landscape clicks

To my eyes, the b&w has better subject separation. Both are nice though.

I preferred the colour version. To me it was more atmospheric and had a sense of calm about it.

Personally think the sheep in the black and white makes all the difference

Great picture Tom! Its so cool to see video/story behind the picture. You are only one photographer/blogger who not only talks about photography, BUT makes it good. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. 👍👍👍

in the absence of colour, the eye is drawn to study the details. the textures created by light and shadow. the path through the image. the sheep, the gap in the wall, the stone to the left of outcrop and beyond, before before wrenched back to the central trees. then to the right to the figure of the cow and back to that clash of cold feaf stone, and living organic nature of the tree and its roots.
