Greatness moves me greatly. #8DaysToTheMoonAndBack on @bbctwo this evening absolutely encapsulated greatness from start to finish. It was simply extraordinary. A must see, in my humble opinion.

Iโ€™ll put a swipeable link to the web page in my Story shortly.

Pictured: My very own #KielderMoon , photographed on 9th December 2013 from @kielderobservatory .

Agreed, I'm old enough to be in that remarkable photograph that Mike Collins took of everyone on earth in the background behind Armstrong and Aldrin.

It was brilliant wasnโ€™t it? I remember being allowed to stay up to watch the Apollo 11 moon landing. At the time I simply had no scale of comparison for what they were doing. now I am in awe and humbled by the bravery of the astronauts

I watched it too. I had a little weep at how extraordinary it was. They brought the audio to life and told the story. I get the same feeling when I read about various lifeboats coming home safely. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’œ
