This year marks 150 years of #savinglivesatsea for the Wells lifeboat station. Past and present, our volunteers have put the lives of others before their own, selflessly facing the perils of the sea to make rescues. It’s a time to celebrate 150 years of caring, kind and courageous volunteers but it’s also time to say #thankyou #Wells #WellsnexttheSea #RNLI #150years #northnorfolk #nationalthankyouweek

Here’s to another 150 Years!! 👊😎
About 10 years ago a work mate of mine sailing from Boston to Wells misjudged the wind and tide and had to be dragged off Bob Hall Sands by the Wells lifeboat, difficult waters for those who aren't local.
Love Wells-next-the-sea beautiful place, thanks for keeping us safe ❤️
Keep up the great work!
Congratulations! We used to holiday in Wells every year as kids, on the campsite next to the beach. Me & my sister loved to go to the lifeboat evenings, exploring the lifeboat & learning facts from the crew. We became such regulars that we were banned from answering the question: ‘What is the most important piece of a equipment on a lifeboat?’ For those wondering, it’s the kettle! 😂
