ᵃᵈ Always remember to look up & appreciate the stars! ✨ One of the reasons we went to the South Downs on our microgap with @VisitEngland was to go stargazing and learn all about the stars. The @SouthDownsNP is one of the best places in the UK to go stargazing - it's a dark sky preserve so there's hardly any light pollution. On our last night in the South Downs we spent a couple of hours with Dark Skies Dan, a park ranger who told us all about space and the constellations. He even brought his telescope so we could see a closeup of the moon, and I've never seen anything like it - the details of the craters were incredible. It just makes you appreciate how small you among everything, you know? This trip has really given me the thirst to learn more about space and I've got a new found love for astrophotography too. The best thing is there are loads of dark skies festivals coming up all over England (including 4 free events in the South Downs over the next couple of weeks). If you're interested I'd really recommend finding one near you and going on a little microgap like my own! 🌔🌌 #MyMicroGap
