“Every two years Icelands ministry of the environment holds an assembly in which they discuss the most important topics affecting Iceland’s environment. When I was asked to speak and present my work it really validated how and why photographs can be a powerful tool to advocate for the environment. I’ve realized over these last 7 years that actually getting involved and really helping to shape government policy is the only way I can feel like I’m making a difference. With my images, I felt compelled to create something that was more than just beautiful photos... but also a testament to the importance of these fragile river systems and the creation of a national park in Iceland’s highland region. That is the singular most important aspect of my new book, At Glaciers End- to spread that message.”⠀

Great read & amazing photos . I can’t wait to get to Iceland this summer and take some amazing photos of what I’m hoping to be the most incredible place on earth.
This is by far the most astonishing bird’s view shot of a river I have ever seen 😍
This image ❤️
This is incredible
I don't know what I'm looking at here....
How about whaling? Are they taking any action about whaling? Are you allowed to show brutal pictures of the whales being hunted by Iceland because it’s still legal there? How about sharks? They are part of the environment we are talking about, they are very key creatures for the environmental balance. Are they actually doing something about it? I would call this hypocrisy “caring” about environment but not caring actually to make it illegal to hunt whales and sharkes.
This is sick 😍
Crazy cool!! 👏👏👏 Good job man!
🙌Inspiration! Thank you for doing the work for change Chris!
