On the 15th of March, 51 people were killed in Christchurch , New Zealand .. 2 consecutive terrorist attacks at Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Islamic Centre during Friday prayer.. I started a gofund me campaIgn in support of our muslim brothers and sisters.. with the help of 692 donors from 30 different countries over 150 thousand dollars was raised for the victims families..
Yesterday I travelled to christchurch.. As I walked into Al Noor Mosque I was overwhelmed with emotion..
I began to recall the distressing images that many of us saw online of that fateful day.. The resilience and positivity of the incredible men and women I met at the Mosque is something I will never forget. The Imam of the Mosque Gamal Fouda in the photo beside me is very special and inspiring.. I continued on to Linwood Mosque Centre, where we were greeted by beautiful and joyous humans Abdul Aziz, Ahmed Jahanqir and Mohammed Khursheed.. they are the men in the other photo.. Its hard to imagine how they can shine so brightly with all the darkness they encountered.. But there they were. Full of Light and Full of Love.. Adbul , the man in middle of the photo is considered a hero. He chased down the shooter preventing even more deaths.. Ahmed was shot in the arm.. Once again, I was standing in the same room that many innocent people were killed in and yet the survivors were resilient and positive.. Abdul explained that the killers intent was to divide us all .. but he failed.. as people from all over the world from all different faiths have came together to support their community.. I am one of those people..
I’m fortunate to have made my way to Christchurch so that I could personally pay my heartfelt respect and condolences.. Im grateful to have shared this life changing experience with my wife Michelle.. Thank you to Jo De Joux and all the victim support team men and women who continue to give support to the victims and their families.. Jumayah, Abdigani, Jamal , Claire and everyone else I met yesterday 🙏🏼 If anyone reading this should ever find themselves in Christchurch or near it, please go visit these mosques and meet these inspiring men and women.. Salam , Shalom, Peace ✌🏼

This is what off-topic...but why are Madonna’s shows starting so late?!?! 12:30 am start time last night? Seriously. It’s very disrespectful to her fans. She wants us to ‘Wake up’? Her fans are middle-aged, we get tired, we need our sleep! We are working class citizens who have jobs and kids to attend to! Ok, rant over.
Thank you for sharing and keeping these amazing survivors in our ❤️ and 🙏.
Sorry the crowd was so rude in Vegas last night. Great show, really artistically moving. Thank you for it. 🙏🏽
Beautiful. Thank you for your compassion and sharing the sentiment with your followers. You can see the light shine ✨

When are you going to Phillipines, Nigeria and countless other countries that Islamic radicals bomb Christian churches?
